Siemens started designing a telegraph pointer. Werner von Siemens designed this design in 1847 with the aim of inventing the electronic telegraph. The electronic telegraph was developed by Charles Whitstono William Fathrigil Cook. George Halske was Siemens’ co-designer of the telegraph, and the two co-founded the telegraph company Telegraphen-Bauanstalt von Siemens & Halsk to better design and build new telegraphs. The company began operations on October 12, 1847, with 10 employees.
Siemens’ first invention:
In 1848 it was decided to sign a contract to open the telegraph line from Berlin to Frankfurt. This project took a year to complete. The German ruler was Frederick Wilhelm IV, who was the first to use the invention, and the appointment was communicated from the Frankfurt Parliament to Berlin in an hour.
Establishment of Siemens :
The first name of choice was Siemens & Halske. The official contract of Siemens and Halske was signed in 1853. The contract was signed for the Warsaw-Prussia telegraph line. The first Siemens production center was established in St. Petersburg under the management of Carl von Siemens.

The first Siemens International project :
In England, a sales office was established under the direction of William Siemens . William Siemens became the London office in 1858 as an independent company and a subsidiary of Siemens . The London office’s main focus was on marketing and networking, and over time for cable suppliers in the UK in 1863 it established its own independent production center in Woolwich, near London.
