Health-Safety-Environment

Millions of work-related accidents occur around the world each year, some of which lead to death and others to disability and debilitating injuries.

HSE consists of three terms: Health, Safety, Environment, which has been a management tool to control and improve the performance of health, safety and environment in all development programs and industrial projects or organizational organizations.

Safety, Health and Environment Services (HSE)

Which minimizes the adverse effects of industry on the environment and increases its favorable effects by providing comprehensive safety to all employees and colleagues of the organization, equipment and facilities and zero accidents and work-related injuries by controlling or eliminating unsafe conditions and upgrading The level of people’s health is achieved through the application of management, engineering and executive control strategies at all levels of the organization as well as environmental protection as human capital.

It is a cohesive and dynamic system for advancing management and engineering matters related to health, safety and the environment. The integrated HSE system systematically assesses health and safety non-compliances, potential hazards, accidents and diseases, and provides methods based on prevention and control.

Establishing an integrated HSE system is important because in most environments there are potential hazards that, if not identified and controlled, can lead to irreparable damage.

On the other hand, efforts to maintain and improve the level of health and safety are among the priorities of the Ministry of Science, so that in the form of a circular, it has announced the establishment of a comprehensive environmental health safety system with a focus on health centers.

Over the past years, the General Directorate of Health has taken significant steps to carry out its responsibilities in the areas of monitoring the health and safety of places, monitoring health and providing health and safety-related training. In addition, the establishment of the HSE system has been followed up by the General Directorate. Currently, according to the decision of the Board of Directors, the General Directorate of Health, as the HSE Secretariat, has a pivotal role in advancing HSE programs.
